Emily first came to our clinic in the summer of 2017. She was looking for relief for neck and back pain, as well as tips on how to get her core and body strong again. Emily is a desk worker with typical back and neck pain from the job demands. She had some complicating medical issues, but was excited to start her journey of health. After a few sessions of physiotherapy, Emily was referred to Jen to start with yoga therapy to increase her flexibility and strength. At first, Emily seemed apprehensive, but after a few sessions with Jen she was on board.
Emily has made leaps and bounds in her health recently. She has made incredible gains in her flexibility – and can even once again touch her toes! Best of all, she finally discovered the secret to managing her pain – and it all has to do with diligently following her exercises and stretches.
