New Patients Always Welcome!
Gail graduated with a degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto in 1982. Gail went on to graduate with Honors in Chiropody in Toronto in 1984 and worked at North York General Hospital and their satellite hospitals, nursing homes and senior care centres in Toronto. In 1988, Gail worked as Chief Chiropodist in collaboration with a prominent Toronto Podiatrist to create 5 Foot Care Centres in downtown Toronto and Mississauga, which were part of the first multidisciplinary medical health centres in Ontario. Gail’s approach to providing holistic foot care is to identify and treat the underlying cause, not just the symptoms.
Educating her patients on prevention of foot conditions, shoe technology and inspiring her patients to take care of their feet and whole body with ease and comfort is Gail’s personal goal as a practitioner. Gail has a special interest whereby she blends her love of sports, conscious body movement, music, dance and aquatic activities into joyful healing exercise with foundations from Nia dance, ancient Hawaiin massage, called Lomi Lomi and hula hoops, just to name a few.
Gail envisions teaching movement classes to men as her way of giving back to the “guys” that accepted her and included her in all the street sports and activities during her childhood. As a ceramic artist, specializing in functional ware and unique tools, Gail loves to donate her bowls to the “Empty Bowl” event held yearly at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto.
